In 2023 we expanded our services to open a walk-in location in Albuquerque, giving local families the option to pick up their WIC-covered formula in person. Whether you visit us or pick up from your clinic, our mission is the same: to ensure every family receives their full WIC formula benefits without stress or delay.

How to Pick Up WIC Formula at Our Location
1. Call Ahead to Check In
Give our office a quick call before you come in. One of our friendly team members will check our inventory to ensure we have your full formula quantity available when you arrive.
2. Bring Your WIC EBT Card
Be sure to bring your active WIC EBT card and know your PIN. We’ll use it to verify your formula benefits and process your order.
3. Pick Up & Go!
When you arrive, simply swipe your WIC card—we’ll pull your full order, scan it, and have you on your way in no time. It’s quick, easy, and hassle-free!

Beyond WIC: Medicaid Formula Support
We know that a child’s nutritional needs don’t end when they age out of WIC—or when WIC benefits are maxed out for the month. That’s why Star Medical Specialties also processes formula needs through New Mexico’s Medicaid program. If your child requires additional formula beyond WIC coverage, or if they’ve outgrown WIC eligibility, we’re here to make the transition smooth and stress-free.
We are in-network with Turquoise Care payors, including Presbyterian, Molina, and UnitedHealthcare. Our dedicated Intake Team is here to assist you every step of the way, ensuring all required documentation is completed to help get your Enteral Nutrition, Incontinence supplies, and Breast Pump needs covered.
