Healthy Fruit and Yogurt Parfait

Greek yogurt is packed with calcium and protein while berries are a great source of fiber and vitamin C. This simple snack can be whipped up in seconds!

Ingredients:

1 cup vanilla or fruit-flavored Greek yogurt

½ cup frozen berries, thawed

Directions:

In a glass, layer ½ cup Greek yogurt. Top with ¼ cup berries. Repeat with yogurt and berries. Serve or make ahead of time and store in refrigerator.

Southwestern Avocado Wrap-Ups

Avocados provide heart healthy fats, and beans are a good source of fiber and protein. Enjoy cold or try heating these wraps in the microwave for 10 seconds.

Ingredients:

1 whole wheat or corn tortilla

2 Tbsp mashed avocado

2 Tbsp cup shredded pepper jack cheese

2 Tbsp chunky salsa, drained well

¼ cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained

Shredded lettuce

Directions:

On a tortilla, spread mashed avocado. Top with cheese, salsa, beans and lettuce. Roll up burrito-style and serve.

Serves 1
