See how “a little” can make all the difference

Individuals who make clear resolutions are 10 times more likely to attain their goals than people who don’t. But, if less strategy is music to your ears, try this “Plan B” approach to goal-setting.

It’s simple, really. Just list the top 5 goals for your life this year. Then, insert the phrase, “a little” in the sentence. For example:

I will eat a little healthier.
I will save a little more money.
I will take walks a little more frequently.
I will consume a little less alcohol.
I will get together with family a little more often.

So, does this mean your goal really is just “a little” improvement? Say it isn’t so! But, by taking a bite-size approach, you’ll increase the likelihood that you’ll not only remain encouraged, but hopefully see changes in your life that grow from “a little” to “a lot”. It’s never too late to start. Good luck on your journey!
